Danta is a companion that remembers your life. That makes this document part of the product, not paperwork. Below is what we hold, why, and how you take it back.
1. What we collect
- Account: your email address and a hash of your password — never the password itself.
- Conversations: the messages you send, by text or voice.
- Memory: facts about you that Danta remembers, so she can be a companion rather than a search box.
- Technical data: IP address, device identifier and app version — for security and diagnosis.
- Push token: your device token, only if you allowed notifications.
- Files: documents and text files you bring into a conversation. We store only the text extracted from them — the file itself is not kept. The filename and the text are encrypted.
2. What we do with it
- Give you a companion who remembers you between conversations.
- Let her write first, if you allow it — and stop completely if you don't.
- Keep the service secure and protect it from abuse.
Access to the content of your conversations is restricted and technically possible only for the service owner, in cases necessary to ensure security, provide technical support, or prevent abuse. We do not use the content of your conversations for marketing purposes and do not share it with third parties, except as described in this policy.
3. Deletion and storage
You can delete your account at any time in settings, by confirming this with your email address again. After that, access to Danta stops immediately, and push notifications and proactive messages stop immediately as well. Core data (memory, errands, conversation history, photos) is deleted from production systems within 30 days. Some data may be kept longer: in backups, for up to 5 weeks — this is standard practice for disaster recovery; in usage logs and internal security records, for longer if needed for cost accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance, but without a link to your name or email wherever possible.
4. Who else sees anything
For conversational and analytical features, Danta uses a combination of proprietary algorithms and third-party, enterprise-grade AI services. We choose these partners ourselves and may change them at any time — for example, to improve response quality, speed, or reliability — without a separate notice in this document. We do not sell your data or share it with advertising networks.
Beyond that, only the minimum technical services needed:
- Firebase (Google) — the device token, to deliver a notification.
- Error monitoring — anonymous technical failures, without message content.
5. Voice
Speech is transcribed as it arrives. The audio is not stored — only the text, which is then treated like any other message. The microphone opens when you start a voice conversation and at no other time. There is no background recording.
6. What you can do
- Ask Danta what she remembers about you, and get an honest answer — like from a person, not a database export.
- Ask her not to bring something up — she'll remember the request and won't raise it first.
- Export a copy of your data.
- Tell her to stop writing first — she stops entirely, not "less often".
- Delete your account yourself, by confirming your email — access stops immediately, data is deleted within 30 days.
7. Age
Danta is intended for use by people over the age of 18. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.
8. Changes
We may change this document at any time. The new version takes effect upon publication. Continued use of Danta means acceptance of the new version.
